  • What if this course isn't advanced enough for me, or if it's too advanced?

    Before enrolling, take the FREE chord quiz to check your knowledge (you'll need to enter email information but there is no cost), go to "Free Preview." Interpret your results after taking the quiz. If you have further questions, please email Dr. Malia for more assistance: [email protected]

  • Do I have to be able to read music?

    I won't be covering a lot of music notation, but there will be a little bit of notation. You do need to have a basic working knowledge of chords, but knowing how to play them on your instrument (like guitar), is good enough. You'll learn proper labeling for chord charts.

  • Can I enroll after the course is published?

    Yes, all Music Theory Shop courses are evergreen, which means they are always available at your convenience. However, the $27 price is limited only to pre-orders. Once the course is published, the price will go up to $47.

  • Can I get a refund if I change my mind before the course launches?

    I'm sorry, but there are no refunds on pre-orders. Please take the Chord Quiz first, to see if this course is something that will benefit your musicianship. After the course is published, and you have worked through the modules and engaged in the community, but still did not benefit from the course, you may request a refund with 7 days of beginning the course (within the 30-day publication window). Do not hesitate to reach out and ask questions: [email protected]. Regular enrollments qualify for the full refund after 7 days.
